A Day in the Life of a Developer Relations Engineer:
Join our team and:
- Engage with developer communities through various channels (IRC, social media, forums, meet-ups)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish consistent approaches
- Troubleshoot technical issues for users and colleagues
- Contribute to technical documentation and developer resources
- Develop technical articles, presentations, and workshops
- Identify areas for improvement in developer experience
- Represent Canonical at conferences, meetups, and technical events

To succeed as a Developer Relations Engineer at Canonical, you should:
- Be a proficient programmer/developer with open-source experience

- Possess hands-on experience with Linux software packaging (Snaps, debs, charms, rocks, PIP, containers)
- Understand current Linux software packaging issues and trends

- Be willing to travel globally (twice/year)
