Job Title: Supply Chain Planner Intern
Job Description:
As a Supply Chain Planner Intern, you’ll play a critical role in building support plans and designing service experiences for new products, programs, and offerings. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing new support scenarios to identify potential incidents/risks and their mitigation
- Determining the need for new plans to support offerings and opportunities
- Analyzing experience feedback and monitoring key performance indicators to improve customer experience, increase return on investment, and identify new opportunities

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute forward or reverse supply plans provided by senior planners
- Perform tactical elements of supply plan, including:
- Understanding part level gaps between demand and supply
- Managing programs with low complexity and/or receiving direct guidance
- Utilize tools and processes for managing supply and driving improvements, including:
- Avoiding additional labor needs
- Gaining foundational understanding of tools and processes
- Conduct analysis and gather information for “what-if” scenarios impacting supply and demand management
- Rework/refurbish finished goods and execute mitigation solutions
- Assist with review of:
- Staffing
- Capacity
- Bills of materials
- Change orders
- Track and analyze metrics related to operational performance of suppliers
Qualification Requirements:
- Educational Background:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in:
- Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science)
- Industrial Engineering
- Supply Chain/Operations Management
- Supply Chain Analytics
- Related fields (e.g., Business Administration, Logistics)
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in:
- Academic Status:
- Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining following the completion of the internship
