Tower Research Capital, a leading high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, is seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our Core AI & Machine Learning team. As an Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to cutting-edge projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for cleaning, collecting, processing, and analyzing diverse datasets
- Create and implement machine learning and Large Language Model (LLM)-based Natural Language Processing (NLP) models
- Conduct comprehensive experiments and tests to evaluate and compare model performance
- Contribute to optimizing and fine-tuning existing machine learning models to improve accuracy and efficiency
Required Qualifications:
- Academic credentials: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD (ongoing or completed) from a reputable top university
- Availability: Ready to join for an in-office Summer Internship from May 2025
- Technical skills:
- Proficiency in training, building, and deploying models using Tensorflow/Pytorch (or similar frameworks)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and MLOps for automating model deployments
- Proficiency in Linux, SQL, Git, and BASH scripting
- Strong knowledge of Python programming language and hands-on experience
